Dr John Marsden

John is an economist with career experience in the Australian Government, banking and economic consulting.

He is a director of Marsden Jacob Associates, financial and economic consultants, and a lay member of the Australian Competition Tribunal.

He is one of three members of the Tribunal appointed in April 2011 as a lay member of the High Court of New Zealand for Commerce Act matters.

John holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Western Australia and a Ph.D in economics from the ANU.

He is Melbourne based.
