Mr Robin Davey

Prior to his 1998 appointment to the Australian Competition Tribunal, Robin was Victoria's first Regulator-General, responsible for the regulation of Victoria's electricity and water industries, port services and grain handling. 

From 1989 to 1994 he was the Chairman of AUSTEL (the Australian Telecommunications Authority), responsible for facilitating the introduction of competition to the Australian telecommunications industry.

While Regulator-General and the Chairman of AUSTEL he was also an Associate Member of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and its predecessor, the Trade Practices Commission.
