Mr Rodney Shogren

In addition to being a member of the Australian Competition Tribunal, Rod Shogren is a part-time member of the Australian Communications and Media Authority. He also does some consulting on aspects of public policy.

In 2002 he completed a five-year term as a commissioner with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. From 1990 to 1997 Rod held senior positions in the Commonwealth Treasury.

He is married with two children and holds a Bachelor of Science with first class honours in mathematics from the University of Queensland and an MBA from Stanford University.
