In the matter of an application under s 245 of the National Gas Access (Western Australia) Law (NGL(WA)) for a review of a full access arrangement decision made by the Economic Regulation Authority (under rule 64 of the National Gas Rules) in relation to ATCO Gas Australia Pty Ltd ABN 90 089 531 975.
Pursuant to section 261(1)(b) of the NGL(WA), a Public Consultation Forum is to be held by the Australian Competition Tribunal (the Tribunal) in relation to the above Application for Review in Perth on 2 December 2015 at the Federal Court of Australia, 1 Victoria Avenue, Perth, WA from 9.30am. Depending on interest and time, the Tribunal may fix additional public forum dates, if necessary.
The Tribunal has issued a Protocol to govern the Tribunal's community consultation process (including the Public Consultation Forum), together with a brief Explanatory Guide for participants in the consultation process. Both the Protocol and the Explanatory Guide can be found on the Tribunal's website at www.competitiontribunal.gov.au. Please read the Protocol carefully.
If you would like to participate in the Public Consultation Forum, please apply to register in accordance with the Protocol by emailing your application to Michael Raine, Tribunal Officer, at registry@competitiontribunal.gov.au, by 4pm (Perth time) on Friday, 27 November 2015, including the following information:
- your contact details (including name, telephone number and email address)
- the details of any group, association or organisation that you represent;
- the topics you wish to address in your submission;
- if you are or represent a group, the name and role of one nominated speaker and the names and roles of all those who propose to attend.
- Which of the following categories you fall into:
(i) current and prospective users of the relevant services;
(ii) user or consumer associations;
(iii) user or consumer interest groups; or
(iv) other reason for attendance.
By submitting a registration application, you (and all prospective participants named in your application) are taken to acknowledge and agree to the Protocol.
